The Little Girl Who Was Almost Abducted

Sara got off the bus with a small group of children. Her older sister had to stay after school so she had no one to walk home with. The other kids had scattered toward the directions of their own  homes leaving her alone.

Unbeknownst to her stood a nine-foot guardian angel. His giant hand swallowed her shoulder as he
watched and guided her toward her house. He glanced over his shoulder. The bus left exposing  snarling demons hanging in and around a small blue car. Two men inside. Their focus on the tiny blonde girl.

Sara scanned the front of the gated community. All looked normal. But she felt as if someone was watching her from behind. Rock music blared and an an engine revved.

"Don't look back. Get home!" The angel's voice boomed in Sara's head.

The little girl ran toward the metal gate door to her neighborhood. The small blue car followed closely behind. The gate that let cars in squeaked open beside her.

Her heart jumped and then raced to the pit of her throat. She thought she'd vomit and grabbed her tummy. The pink book bag on her back weighted her down as did the unsinkable fear invading her mind.

"Hey, cutie pie," a man's voice said off to her left. "Want to come for a ride with us?"

Sara turned slightly and got a quick glimpse of the blue Honda Accord and the two unkempt men. They were old, but not like her grandpa. Stale smoke wafted from the open window to her nostrils.

The guardian angel drew his sword and yelled, "Run, Sara! Run!"

The engine revved again and the two men cackled.

Sara jolted forward and wiggled out of her backpack. It landed on the sidewalk with a thud. Tears thrust into her eyes. She could barely see where she was going and where the men were. "Keep going straight!" There was that voice again.

Little did she know, a squadron of angels now lined her path toward an elderly lady who walked her toy poodle at this appointed time everyday. The dog's bladder was on a strict schedule.

Sara ran smacked dab into the older woman and went into hysterics.

The neighbor lady wrapped her arms around the child. "What's the matter, dear?" Her toy poodle growled at an oncoming blue vehicle.

"Help me!" Sara cried. "They wanted me to get into their car with them."

Earlier that day, one of her other neighbors was up early. The woman had cultivated a habit of prayer. She always prayed for God's protection and His angels to be about the perimeter of the neighborhood. She always prayed for God's warring angels to be about to battle the realms of darkness. She always prayed for every household, their families, and their children. She offered up prayers for protection, healing, salvations, and blessings for her neighbors.

Never underestimate the power of prayer. You never know whose life might be saved.

Also, yesterday afternoon right after I left for work, the little girl across the street was almost abducted. The scumbags are still at large.

Where There is No Joy

There is no joy in anger and unforgiveness. There is no joy in anxiety and worry. There is no joy in telling a white lie or a big one. There is no joy in war. There is no joy in quarreling. There is no joy in gossip and slander. There is no joy in always being right. There is no joy in divorce. There is no joy in confusion. There is no joy in fear. There is no joy in depression. There is no joy in drugs or booze. There is no joy in overeating. There is no joy in having a lot of stuff. There is no joy in overspending. There is no joy in bearing false witness against someone. There is no joy in adultery or fornication. There is no joy in greed. There is no joy when one turns a blind eye to those in need. There is no joy in mental or physical abuse. There is no joy in an abortion clinic. There is no joy in a pet euthanasia center. There is no joy in socialism, communism, or capitalism. There is no joy in politics. There is no joy being a Democrat, a Republican, or and Independent. There is no joy in a dream job. There is no joy in a Hollywood movie. There is no joy in  a reality TV show. There is no joy in Hip-Hop, Country, or Rock music. There is no joy in a strip club. There is no joy in the entertainment industry. There is no joy in being a movie star. There is no joy in being a best seller novelist. There is no joy in having millions of dollars. There is no joy in hunger or sickness or homelessness.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the answer to true joy. Do you know Him? I hope you do.

The Jesus Agenda

"Hey! I needed to see what your shirt said!" a women hollered from behind.

I had just stepped out of my local vitamin store, my back to her. Earlier that morning, I had decided to wear my Jesus is the Answer t-shirt. One of my prayers this morning was for God to give me one opportunity to proclaim Jesus today. He did.

I spun around to find a small teary-eyed woman.

"You go to Calvary Chapel don't you?"

"Yes. I do." I let my eyes roam her frowning face and took her hand in mine. "Is that where you attend?"

"No. I go somewhere else."

"Can I pray for you?"

"Yes. Please. My dog just died. Now I'm all alone. I feel so lost."

"If you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you're never alone. Do you know Him?"

She nodded.

"What is your name?"

I wrapped my arms around her, and prayed.

One thing I have learned over time is that we are not here for ourselves. Egos must shed. Personal agendas need to be distinguished. Believers need to be ready at the drop of a hat to serve Jesus. We should never be in a such hurry that we ignore the cry for help from someone in need, even if it means just a hug and saying a prayer.

Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves, do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Philippians 2:3-4

Jesus was never too busy for the sick, the demon-possessed, or the people who were considered dirt back in the day. His agenda was love, mercy, grace, and salvation of mankind.

The Friend

"Why are you nice to me?" Pat wanted to know. No Christian he'd crossed paths with were ever kind to him. Nor did they consider him a friend of theirs. He was nothing more than a piece of dirt to them.

Christina twisted her face and gave him a sideways glance. "You're my friend, goofy."

"But you're a Bible-believing-Christian. Your kind doesn't mix with my kind."

"What are you talking about?"

Pat scratched his head. "I'm gay. You knew that, right?" Her nonchalant attitude confused him. In all honesty, he wanted to hate her. Even argue with her on why gays and lesbians weren't going to hell.

"Yeah.. So."

"How come you don't tell me that I'm going to hell?"

"Jesus never told the woman at the well, or the adulteress, or the sick and scourged that they were going to hell. He always loved them and told them to go and sin no more," Christina chuckled. "My job is to love you and show you who He and how He is."

"Huh?" Pat couldn't debate that point.

"Besides, we all fall short. All have sinned. We all need Jesus and His salvation." Her face beamed. "And as for hell ... God made it originally for the fallen angels and demons.  However, it is expanding to include human souls. We have a choice as to where we wish to spend eternity."

He couldn't bash her gentle answer. "But why don't you badger or shun me over my lifestyle?"

"That's not my job. That belongs to the Holy Spirit."

Patrick furrowed his brows. "What does that mean?"

"In time, you'll find out. Ask Him."

I Refuse to Wish You All A Happy Easter, Here's Why

Last night, I went to Target to by some cards for my grandsons. What I wanted was something that would tell them about the Passover and the symbol of the lamb, and how it relates to the death and resurrection of Yeshua/ Jesus. Unfortunately, I came up empty handed.

At one time the practice of Easter bothered me because Christians had hi-jacked the holiday of those of us who worshiped the goddess. Yes. I used to do that until the Holy Spirit corrected me.

Now as a Christian, it bothers me because Yah commanded us to celebrate the Passover, not Easter egg hunts, chocolate, bunnies, and baskets.

Exodus 12:25-27
"When you enter the land which the LORD will give you, as He has promised, you shall observe this rite. "And when your children say to you, 'What does this rite mean to you?' you shall say, 'It is a Passover sacrifice to the LORD who passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt when He smote the Egyptians, but spared our homes '" And the people bowed low and worshiped.
Exodus 12:2-11
"This month shall be the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year to you. "Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, 'On the tenth of this month they are each one to take a lamb for themselves, according to their fathers' households, a lamb for each household. 'Now if the household is too small for a lamb, then he and his neighbor nearest to his house are to take one according to the number of persons in them; according to what each man should eat, you are to divide the lamb. read more.
Numbers 9:1-5
Thus the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, "Now, let the sons of Israel observe the Passover at its appointed time. "On the fourteenth day of this month, at twilight, you shall observe it at its appointed time; you shall observe it according to all its statutes and according to all its ordinances." read more.
Deuteronomy 16:1-8
"Observe the month of Abib and celebrate the Passover to the LORD your God, for in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you out of Egypt by night. "You shall sacrifice the Passover to the LORD your God from the flock and the herd, in the place where the LORD chooses to establish His name. "You shall not eat leavened bread with it; seven days you shall eat with it unleavened bread, the bread of affliction (for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste), so that you may remember all the days of your life the day when you came out of the land of Egypt.
We as Believers in Jesus should not conform to the ways of this world. We are supposed to be set apart and separate for Yah.
Romanns 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
I believe the video below will help to explain further.

To Love Our Smallest Neighbor

And thou shalt love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.

And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love they neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30-31

"You know we have to be careful what we watch on the news." Jose drenched his words in his Spanish accent and sat in the barber chair. "They're trying to frighten us."

Mary draped a hair cutting cape around him and secured the snaps. "I know. After the Ebola scare and the hundreds of dollars I spent on a hazmat suit, I only read head lines now. Television is nothing more than a propaganda-brain-wash-box." If she could, she'd have gotten rid of the television set in her house a long time ago. But her husband was addicted to it along with his GMO-filled snacks.

"The Zica virus comes to mind. Its not as bad as they want us to think." Jose had family in Miami. He knew firsthand that it was the lower income people and the homeless who were being affected at minimal.

Mary picked up her water bottle, spritzed his gray wavy hair, and combed it through the ends. "I think they were using the virus to get an uptick in abortions."

"I don't think that. Besides a woman has the right to choose."

"To kill a baby?"

"It's her body."

"What about the baby's body?" Mary grabbed her scissors off her dresser.

Jose ignored her question. "No one has the right to tell someone what they can and cannot do with their body."

"That is true. But again, what about the baby's body?" Annoyance reflected on Mary's words. She tried to maintain a poker face. The Pro-choice philosophy of today never made sense to her. If a woman wanted to slice and dice and pierce her body, then fine. But why would a woman have the right to choose to murder another human being? Microscopic or full-term size. Private or in the open. What happened to 'thou shalt not murder?'

Jose smiled. "I don't understand why fundamentalists think they have a right to tell people what they can and cannot do with their bodies. Or why they hate gay people. Whatever happened to love thy neighbor? Hypocrites!"

Mary blinked her eyes twice and snipped at his hair. She couldn't believe his hypocrisy. "Isn't a baby at two weeks gestation our neighbor?"

"They're not human."

Mary's insides quivered. "What about the babies they kill at full-term?"

Jose's face beamed a blank look. "You know, I had a friend who once told me to do whatever makes you happy as long as it hurts no one else. It was one of the wisest things he ever said to me."

Mary shook her head and raked her comb through his hair. His words were preposterous.

"A woman who has an abortion isn't doing anything wrong. She deserves happiness."

"At the expense of an innocent baby."
