Where There is No Joy

There is no joy in anger and unforgiveness. There is no joy in anxiety and worry. There is no joy in telling a white lie or a big one. There is no joy in war. There is no joy in quarreling.There is no joy in gossip and slander. There is no joy in always being right. There is no joy in divorce. There is no joy in confusion. There is no joy in fear. There is no joy in depression. There is no joy in drugs or booze. There is no joy in overeating. There is no joy in having a lot of stuff. There is no joy in overspending. There is no joy in bearing false witness against someone. There is no joy in adultery or fornication. There is no joy in greed. There is no joy when one turns a blind eye to those in need. There is no joy in mental or physical abuse. There is no joy in an abortion clinic. There is no joy in a pet euthanasia center. There is no joy in socialism, communism, or capitalism. There is no joy in politics. There is no joy being a Democrat, a Republican, or and Independent. There is no joy in a dream job. There is no joy in a Hollywood movie. There is no joy in  a reality TV show. There is no joy in Hip-Hop, Country, or Rock music. There is no joy in a strip club. There is no joy in the entertainment industry. There is no joy in being a movie star.There is no joy in being a best seller novelist. There is no joy in having millions of dollars. There is no joy in hunger or sickness or homelessness.

Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus is the answer to true joy. Do you know Him? I hope you do.
